Lights:

  • We have lovingly updated an older home. We have labeled some of the lightswitches for your convenience. Please note that some lights may take a moment to “warm up” when turned on.

  • Power can go out in our area. You may also see the lights flicker. We have a generator that powers some of our home. It will automatically come when the power goes out.

TVs:

  • The living room tv uses a soundbar. Remotes for both are on the coffee table.

  • You may sign into any of your streaming services on our TVs. Please sign out at check-out.

What’s That Noise:

  • Creaking and thumping? Wood expands and contracts, so our cabin makes a lot of noises. If you hear these noises, especially in the loft, it’s not an unwelcome visitor (though it may be a critter on the roof).

  • Knocking? We have a water tank that fills in the basement.

  • Motorcycle engine? That’s our generator. It may run test cycles when the power is on.
